In addition to this already good list of great movies...

The Wicker Man (original version) - cop goes to an island to investigate the murder of a girl, the locals are a peculiar bunch. This movie has a unique atmosphere.

The Thing (Carpenter's version) - an outer space entity invades an Antarctic research facility, and paranoia sets in. Who can you trust?

A Perfect World - two men kidnap a small boy of religious family, one of them forms a bond with him. It's all very moving. Good performances from all.
Looks like we're not going down after all, so nevermind.

Geb, you're right, there were a lot of neat ideas in that movie. I just don't think they pulled it off well. But meh.
If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.

Lassev: I guess there was something captivating in savagery, because I liked it.

I actually have Fear & Loathing on my iPod. It's hilarious.

Clearly, it is Johnny Depp's masterpiece.

Not sure why that point, but anything after seems too new somehow. Also, I can't imagine why you hate Snow White... Oh right, the ear-piercing singing of the character Snow White...

I don't know my Disney Chronology :(
Fincham: Where are you going?
Me: I have no idea
Fincham: I meant where are you sitting. This wasn't an existential question.
