The coast of Northern California is a hot spot for Great White attacks. My freshman year, there was a guy in my class who was attacked by a Great White while he was surfing at Stinson Beach. He had a huge chuck missiing from the back of his thigh.

yeah Florida has a lot of sharks too. and I think tiger sharks which are one of the most aggressive kind

as for that guy, that was merely a snack for the shark, it prob. went for dinner else where

Personally I don't swim in the ocean because if any water gets in your mouth its ****ing horrible.

I don't like being coated in salt either.

More people are killed by beestings yearly than by Sharks. It's just the nature of the thing that scares people... sheesh. Like flying on planes... it's a lot safer than driving, statistically speaking.

I might go diving w/ hammerheads this October, wraaar...
