So some shiny new Philips 4331S Windows Live Messenger Dual Phones turned up at work today and I must say I was mighty impressed, so much so that I'm seriously considering buying one, especially as I'm at university as of September with no landline and no desire to buy a contract for my mobile phone.
Before I take the plunge though I want to know if there's any alternatives. The only one I can seem to find is the Uniden Win1200 that works with Messenger also - it needs to do this as Skype and my computer just don't get on. I can get the Philips phone for £72 at my work (c. $132) but as yet cannot find a UK retailer for the Win1200. I don't mind buying online but would prefer to do so from within the UK - most ideally I'd like to buy from an actual outlet, but that's not essential.
If you can find a good alternative or indeed a better one, then let me know, otherwise I'll be looking at a new 4331S for Thursday.
