And yet you, along with others, make posts exactly like that in countless other "LOL THIS IS FUNNY"-type threads. You'd think someone would learn by now not to waste time with something that has a 95% chance of not being funny to them.

And after reading even a portion of it and not finding it amusing, you'd think they would take the hint and stop reading instead of continuing to waste his or her time.

And not only that, but complaining about how stupid it was and demanding that they give you your "30 minutes" back (which, by the way, is impossible to do), after KNOWING it was probably not going to be funny, and then reading it anyway even though it still isn't funny, but refusing to stop? Seriously, no one's forcing you to read it. If you don't like it, don't read it, move to a different thread, and shut up. No one cares if you wasted your time, because in truth it's your own damn fault. Quit whining.

[Disclaimer: For the record, this and my earlier post are directed to this sort of attitude as a whole, not the person himself (jedikirby, in this case). But in-fact, I don't make comments on something unless I've read the entire thing. If someone were to ask me "Did you read that matrix thing?" and I responed "Oh it was crap." and I'd only read half of it, and the other half was hilarious, well, I wouldn't have much of an argument, would I? Not to mention, I posted simply to warn anyone else who might sit and waste their time reading it.

Basically, what you're saying, is that no one should have a negative opinion, and should know exactly how they'll react to something before they even read/see/hear/play something? I'm sorry, but that's a little too similar to ignorance, for me.

The University of North Carolina has finally found a network server that, although missing for four years, hasn't missed a packet in all that time. Try as they might, university administrators couldn't find the server. Working with Novell Inc., IT workers tracked it down by meticulously following cable until they literally ran into a wall. The server had been mistakenly sealed behind drywall by maintenance workers.
