I bought it on sale last week at Best Buy. Games and movies look fantastic on it, and I haven't had any problems at all. Also, for some reason games run a LOT smoother than they did on my other monitor. I have no idea why, but HL2 and UT2004 used to be barely runnable, now I can run then at highest detail!

Post your recent purchases.

I bought replacement brakes for my push bike. Some people might think being able to stop is an overrated luxury, but I'm disinclined to agree.

While it's certainly a nice monitor, I'm not sure how it could affect your frame rate

Neither do I.

Did your old monitor do ghosting or something?

Oh, and I got Quake 4 for $20 at EB. Not bad of a deal.

Second Xbox from a friend - $10.00
--Faulty DVD Drive (has problems reading discs) Doesn't matter to me, I only wanted it so I could softmod it without risking mine.

Walther P22 Airsoft pistol - $30.00
--Technically not allowed to have ANY form of realistic gun, but what they don't know about can't get me in trouble. It's going to be used in a Splinter Cell type movie my friends and I are going to flim later this year.

Laser Aiming Device for aforementioned Airsoft pistol - $20.00
--Something of a downer. It doesn't fit the pistol. Solution? Velcro.

Cheap Metal Toilet Paper Roll Pin Thing - $5.00
--Spray painted it black. It's going to be the silencer.

Splinter Cell (first one, Xbox) - $4.00, Used
--Non Plantnium Hits version, hadn't played it, and I need it to softmod. After playing it, I'm glad I only paid 4 bucks for it. I infinitely prefer Chaos Theory.

Unreal II (Xbox)- $7.00, Used
--Purchased on a whim, started playing tonight, read reviews, discovered I wasn't alone in thinking it was rather mediocre. Don't care too much, it's another game that has co-op and a form of multiplayer, and it gives my pitiful Xbox library a needed boost.

Hmmm....not counting my computer mess, last thing I went up to the counter and personally bought with my OWN money. The Essential Judas Priest. Friend got me to listen to a bit of it, and I'm a sucker for NWOBHM (New Wave of British Heavy Metal, Iron Maiden and Judas Priest are all that I think of)
I had a blog. It sucked.

That would be Dungeon Siege 2 and Super Mario Sunshine. I needed something to keep me occupied for a few weeks until I get my A Level results.

On my vacation in the UK, i bought the following:

    Dungeon Siege II

Fable: The Lost Chapters (damn I love that game!)

    Dynasty Warriors 4: Hyper

Guild Wars: Factions (2 days after I got it, i found out there was a collector's edition  )

Now I intend to get myself a new PSU (power supply) by the end of the week (12v rail's going, and i seriously want to overclock my video card, but don't have the power to do so). More on that later.
