There shall be no lazytown in this post aside from the topic. Sorry jep.

So here I sit, on my new computer. HL2 is pretty, but I'm not gonna play through Ravenholm again just so I can enjoy the last half of the game. KotOR is gonna be fun, but I haven't played it much yet, so I have no commitment. What I'm here to ask about is demos.

I want demos that'll tide me over until I can buy the whole game. I'm downloading the Prey demo as we speak, and FarCry is next in line (there's actually 2 FarCry Demos. Get the larger or smaller one, and I mean in file size?). Is there perhaps a Quake 4 and DooM 3 demo? I only ask about the latter because I would like to play the game, atleast once. Even if not to buy.

So, gimme demos please!

Oh, and since when are demos 500mb? What have I missed out on in the last 3 years of gaming with a ****ty computer and 28k up until last year?

It has to bring the entire graphics engine and physics engine over zloc. Thats why it's so big.

Total Overdose eays there's not enough room on my hard drive to install.
I have 50 gb free on my hard drive.
I think the problem is it keeps reading my C drive, which is lacking (300 mb) instead of my D drive (a hefty 50 gb) because it thinks C is the only drive I have.

-What do I do, Massassi?

-But seriously. Can I somehow convince it that C is not the hard drive it's looking for? There's no "Select your destination directory" option in the install. And it doesn't default install to the drive it's on, because (well, you'd probably get it off a disk) i's on the D drive and tries to install to C.

KotOR was good. In fact, it's the best damn SW game to come out of LEC in a very long time. KotOR II on the other hand....

Battlefield 2. I am addicted to that demo. It's such a fun game, but I know if I buy the full version my first semester of tech school will be in jeopardy. :o

I remember playing the Rouge Spear demo to death. I even made a clan, called DFAK - Damn ****ing *** Kickers. Hilarious now that I think of it. That was back when I was in grade 8... Hahaha.
