Okay. What image comes to your mind when you read the words "asserting manliness." Post it, no matter how odd it sounds.


For me, the scene involves a guy with an iPod on full volume so that his annoying music can be heard loud and clear outside his headphones and inside my personal space. Then I envision myself walking up to this individual, shouting the words "Prepare for MANLINESS" and head-butting him. Then I take his iPod and crush it with my teeth.

Of course, I wouldn't do that in real life (yet). But that's what comes to my mind.

This guy at the gas station, pulls his car up to the pump, rap music blarring with some wicked loud subs, literally ****ing painfully loud, gets out of his car, instead of turning it off, turns up the music, and goes inside for about 5 minutes.

I was really impressed to say the least.

I'd say a good scene from a movie about asserting manliness is that part in Raiders of the Lost Ark when the Nazis are shoving the hot poker in Marion's face, then Indy's just like, "Let her go!"

the ultimate thing a guy can do to assert manliness is to defend his woman. now im not saying going and starting fights, but when a guy doesnt let other people talk bad about his girl, I think that's really hot, because its really sweet. its a bit old school, but its noble and hot
