I love his stance on illegal immigration.

I love Stephen Colbert's Congressman interviews. He is an awesome guy.

Jon Stewart is also great. I'm rewatching his appearence on Crossfire right now. Youtube it if you haven't seen it. I'm pretty sure he's the smartest guy on TV right now. He just destroys these guys and it's not apparent that they even know it.

Stupid media didn't apparently get the joke, although it was explicitly explained beforehand that it would be a joke. Who watches morning shows anyway?

Colbert ftw (IMO better than Stewart just because of the personality). I think I have only missed like 3 episodes since the show started.

The Daily Show is better for making fun of the news itself, but the great thing about Colbert is the character, which he manages to stay in no matter what people throw at him. He does a great parody of ultraconservative commentators like O'Reilly. Anyone else notice that he talks about bears being the greatest threat to our nation, and yet he refers to O'Reilly affectionately as "Papa Bear?"

My congressman (Lee Terry, Nebraska's First District), while I'm not a fan of his, had a pretty good interview on there; I think by the way he fell so easily into the meatpacking jokes that he did understand where Colbert was going. I especially enjoyed the comment about how Omaha had a large telemarketing business because the people have no accents, "so it sounds like their from nowhere, which is pretty accurate."
Why do the heathens rage behind the firehouse?
