Due to popular demand, you can now download and play the map that I spent 2 years working on.

http://www.pwizard.com/files/yks2.zip (5.86 MB)

I'm sure you know how to install new maps, so i won't go into that here. However, you will need patch commander if you want to use the weapons patch.

Comments and questions welcome.

The University of North Carolina has finally found a network server that, although missing for four years, hasn't missed a packet in all that time. Try as they might, university administrators couldn't find the server. Working with Novell Inc., IT workers tracked it down by meticulously following cable until they literally ran into a wall. The server had been mistakenly sealed behind drywall by maintenance workers.

LIES!

You don't NEED Patch Commander, it just makes things slightly easier.

I personally have been using the Run command since I moved to Win2k last year.

the sceenshots are pretty damn sexy.

sexy in a very mechanical, blocky way of course... (I mean as opposed to that which is traditionally considered sexy)...

um yeah.

Looks Katrasii-ish. Or maybe that's just the textures. I think I might just download this.

well, I tried to do good archi, but for the sake of framerate and HOM, i can't get too detailed. I added beams and what not in most areas. Unfortunately, I hit the 3do limit or else I would have added more things. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

I also went out of my way to add extra areas and make the level non-linear so you could explore.

how is the gameplay/level experience holding up for everyone? Has anyone beat it yet?

I spent maybe 90 minutes playing it earlier today. I swear I've walked the entire map, but haven't found any keys or wrenches. There is one door which is locked, but I have a piece of map behind it, so I assume I need a key. Then there is a hanger (or is it two?) that has a switch that I need a wrench for. I can't find either. Having said that, I will also continue to assume that in order to find the bad guy's hideout, I need those things.

Any help here? Hints would suffice. Just give me a generalized idea of what to do.

I wasn't referring to architecture [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]. I don't have MotS or I'd play it.

go to the area that is in the general vicinity of the two tall double doors that open. in the open area before you get to that place, you will see a big door in the wall off to the left (or right, depending on which way you come from). That's a good place to start looking for a wrench.
