Well I wanna show off my new desktop and related stuffs, but there's no thread visible... so lets make a new, clean one, says I!

My taskbar is on the left on auto-hide. Gives me more space in it for systray icons, taskbar entries, etc.
The folders on my desktop with the chains on them are junction points I created which basically point to other folders on my computer, even on other drives, so my favorite folders are only a click or two away. I used to use NTFS Link, but this software integrates much better into Explorer and is a bit nicer too. Only disadvantage with this stuff is not many programs are junction-aware, so most tend to get confused. It's a real problem with software that is designed to map out hard drive space, for example (ahem SequoiaView). It follows my junctions to other drives thus ruining results ("Your 80gb C drive is 300% full.") Luckily I found software that ignores junctions and works better anyways.
I also have Google Desktop Search running with a weather widget down there, and the sidebar on the left also set to autohide.
Winamp 5.25 with default skin at the top, and Firefox 2b1 also with it's default theme.
My XP theme is Black Mesa v2.
Styler Toolbar (official site down, links to CRAZY WRITING LANGUAGE
), which used to be $$$ware but is now freeware, is running with one of the many Vista toolbars (that's what's doing the explorer toolbar thing).
I found this awesome command bar extension that sticks a command prompt in a bar, and I am finding it quite useful. Go get it now.
Finally all the icons on my desktop without the chain, along with the wallpaper, are courtesy the Vista Transformation Pack.
