I've been waiting for this to come out since I watched it in theaters. I watched it last night after I got it and tonight again. Anyone else pick it up yesterday?
<Lyme> I got Fight Club for 6.98 at walmart.

I have not seen it yet. Should I even bother if I didn't like The Matrix?

Yes. It is quite different from the Matrix. Some of the same people may enjoy it, but that's no reason to think that it has exactly the same fans. Also, since it is an adaptation of a preexisting work, crappy sequals are unlikely.

I saw it three times on the flight to Washington. I liked it. I should read the graphic novel.

I wish they'd give it another theater run or something. I really liked that movie.

I can't count how many movies I'd love to see in the theaters again...

One of the few movies I've actually spent money to see in a theater, and well worth it.

A great movie.

I will get it, but it's SERIOUSLY a movie that needs to be seen in theatres. VERY few movies have a theatrical presence like this movie. God, they SHOULD show it in theatres again.

Wanted to see it, but *stuff about parents not letting me watch whatever* so I couldn't see it.

Edited for better wording.
I had a blog. It sucked.

For once I agree with everyone. A really excellent film. Will be buying it sooner rather than later.

Bought it on Tuesday and watched it immediately. It was great when I saw it in theaters and it was still great when I watched it on DVD.

Just saw it, it was excellent.

-I also read the Wiki on Moore's freakout about it. I can see that it had some American moments, and there wasn't so much destruction... but I think that the main problem he had with it (V is a hero rather than ambiguous) is more of a viewpoint thing, like he said. Maybe I should read the book, the way he goes on about how V's supposed to be ambiguous, or maybe I'm just the sort of person who sees him as a hero.

Picked up the DVD on Tuesday, and watched it tonight.

Love that movie so much. Hell, even my Mom loved it. I was surprised that she even got it.

On the topic of Destruction: The movie focused a lot more on the destruction aspect of V's plan, the comic book, sorry, Graphic Novel, really detailed his plan a lot better. It explained that he wasn't planning on destroying the government and then letting go and letting whatever happens, happen.
