Annual Birthday Post... and what are you reading?

It's my 19th birthday. It's also Sithghost's birthday and he turns less than 19.

You should all congratulate us on our achievement of living another year on this terrible planet.

Oh. What are you reading right now and why?

Current:

Ravelstein by Saul Bellow
Reason: For fun.
Recommendation: I like it a lot but it's definitely not for everyone. If you're an academic or a wannabe academic, you might enjoy a lot of the allusions, specifically the philosophical ones.

Happy Birthday! (x2)

Currently reading Memory by KJ Parker, after finishing Shadow and Pattern over the past few weeks (books one and two of the Scavenger trilogy respectively). Also, finished volume one of Romance of the Three Kingdoms while on holiday. Right this second, I'm reading through The Order of the Stick, because I'm bored.

Oh, and I also read that JDATE thing a while ago. That was a good read.

Happy birthday to you.

I'm reading Sister Carrie by some dead guy. It's pretty good, but kind of boring to read.

Just for fun, next on my list is to reread "Crime and Punishment." Haven't read it in a couple of years.
