T-Shirts

If you were in a store and were confronted with a wide array of t-shirts to pick from (that's just what I most commonly wear, I know some people wear other shirt types more) what would you choose, with the varying logos? Oh, and you can get any of the shirts in whatever color you want, so no "It's black so no ****ing way."

Poll up in a minute.

Personally, a gray Adidas shirt that I have, and a yellow participation shirt (a run I was in) are the most comfortable shirts I own. I'm going with the company shirts though, because I have a few Adidas shirts that are WONDERFULLY comfortable, and a nike shirt as well I believe.
I had a blog. It sucked.

My snowboarding shirts. And the nerdy ones.

A nice button up with some sort of design on it. Basically, the comfortable shirts that pass as both professional and casual.

Skateboarding or motocross brand clothing. I also wear some band shirts occasionally.

Band shirts, but not the ****ty ones they sell at target, walmart or hot topic. I have a few nerdy shirts too, and a mozilla shirt.

Any shirt with something like Buddy Cthulhu, SoaP, w00t, Official Chocobo Inbreeder, etc. is good in my books.
Hey, Blue? I'm loving the things you do. From the very first time, the fight you fight for will always be mine.

I like the plain ones, followed closely by the smartass ones. I was known in first year as the guy who wore the shirts with the funny/offensive sayings on them.

Plus the occasional smart-*** shirt from busted tees.

I prefer the bland shirts. For some reason, they make me feel like a fictional character in a story, which seems fun somehow. Mostly though, I just prefer the look of plain clothing.

If not plain, I like the geeky kind. "Classically Trained" is still one of my favorite T-shirts. ^_^

I usually go for plain shirts but sometimes I like to get the ones with goofy sayings or jokes on them. It let's people know that I'm a goof ball myself :)

Plain, plaid, or monochromatically vertically-striped. But I prefer collared shirts.

My sentiments exactly on the company shirts, happydud. I'll generally wear a beater or band tee under a button-up. Smart-*** shirts suck because they seem old to you and those you know after the first time you wear them.

Plain Black T in my actual size when I'm not wearing a hot topic shirt.

I didn't quite know what choice of those to pick, as my favorite T-shirts are either support a project (like Star Wreck), corruption (buy something from our company and we give you a funny T-shirt as a gift), or tourist shirts.

Other would have been such a dull choice that I picked Participation shirt.

I'm exrtremely hip with my all black Kill Hannah tee.

For the past 3 years I've only worn black t-shirts. Usually band or cool picture t-shirts. I've had a couple smart-*** shirts but I've realized now that everyone has the same ones, and wearing the same shirt as someone else is lame.

I've just started to branch out into other color t-shirts, maybe. My dad made a bet with me that no one would notice if I wore a non-black t-shirt on the first day of school this year.

Band t-shirts mainly. I dont really like plain t-shirts. All the ones I wear regularly have a picture or something on.

A couple of hours ago I bought a T-shirt from a Norwegian naval sailing ship visiting this town. It has the three masted silhouette of the ship and her name. I guess that's also a participation T-shirt, since you needed to get aboard the ship and have a look around to be able to buy the shirt. And a bloody line of hundreds of meters of dumb people before I got aboard...

I'd probably wear more band shirts if in general they cost less than $20 (roughly). I only have one band shirt, and that's a System of a Down shirt I got for $10 off eBay because the rest were $20 on their website.
I had a blog. It sucked.
2006-08-04, 8:42 AM #35
:/ $20 is perfectly reasonable for a shirt.
nope.
2006-08-04, 9:11 AM #36
Not when your money is limited in a way like mine (and my parents only buy me shirts from Wal-Mart or JCPenny when we go school clothes shopping). A $20 shirt is saving money for 2 weeks. I don't have a job yet.

And any band shirts they'd have on site would more likely than not be bands I don't listen to (Iron Maiden, Gorillaz, The White Stripes, assuming they have shirts).

haha i wear band gear for bands i never listen to.

i've got a guns n roses hat, dont like them.

got a korn t-shirt, never listen to them.

got a nine inch nails t-shirt, never listen to them.

although i do own deftones and john lennon shirts, i listen to them sometimes but its never a conscious decision to wear those particular shirts to show support for the band.

meh, thats just me.

Generally wear branded (not really sports) clothing, i don't pay stupid amounts for stuff, usually i find quite subtle tshirts, which are comfy and look chilled out.( firetrap ftw)

I'm unemployed and don't get anything off my parents. I have no income and I still think it's reasonable.
