I didn't really think this needed to be in the tech forum... Its just a general question... is anyone else having probs getting JK to play via IP? me and a friend cant seem to get it to work.

Wireless can't host. Try having him host if he's not wireless.

Can you play in single player? Because it may be YOU HAVE A CRAPPY VIDEO CARD THAT IS TOO ADVANCED FOR JK'S TIME

its a radeon 9800 pro.... too advanced, is that possible?

anyways, the game RUNS fine, i just cant get either of us to connect to either of us.

Ok, did you configure your router properly for JK?

Check out this page.

It sums it all up nicely. If all else fails, you can try Hamachi, which is a little program that allows you to connect even if you're on a network or behind a router.

Try enabling DMZ temporarily to join. If it works, you need to forward ports. if not, make sure theres not a problem on the other person's end.
