Welcome all you crazy Marylassassians... or something.

We will be getting together. It will be a gather of epic proportions. Four, MAYBE FIVE PEOPLE!!

We will be going to support our resident strange fiction writer and all around tall guy, Gebohq, at his play "The Appeal". Such an amazing event will be "going down" Sunday, August 13th at 2:00 PM, and it will be at the Anne Arundel Community College. All massassians are welcome, figuring you can get yourself there and pay for yourself. We might try to do something afterwards if there is enough interest in such an event.

If you want to send me an email at fishstickz@gmail.com if you'd like to come, or post here, or whatever, feel free.

Marylandassisiaisiansians! UNITE!!

Wewt!

Uh, just so you all know though, after the show (as in a half-hour/hour after) I'm going to be at the cast party. I don't know if any of you all can come, but if you want to, let me know and I'll talk it over with the director and such. Basically, if you're allowed, you'd have to bring $5. There's no guarentee about this though, as the paperwork-stuff was due a week ago, sew... yeah.

In short, if you all go out to do something afterwards, I won't be able to go with you all. Sorry. :(

How long will that be? Could you skip out early and meet us somewhere?

Show will end around 4:30, so the cast party will likely start around 5-6. The recognitions and whatnot will probably then end by 8 (after which people hang around and whatnot until 10-11). So the answer to that is yes, I can skip out early, but only so early. I mean, I do want to hang out with my cast and crew a little bit for the party, even if recognition-stuff wasn't in the picture.

Let me know what's happening, if anything, and I'll do my best to join up. :)

Change Illinois to Colorado, and I'd be there. I'd like to meet some of the Maryland Massassians, you seem like a cool group.
I had a blog. It sucked.

We're all a bunch of sucky nerdo-s
2006-08-07, 8:10 PM #13
BTW, Rob, if you still want a ride from me, it'd have to be Friday or Saturday because of the cast party (and because I ain't getting up any earlier than I have to -- yes, I will sleep well into the afternoon given a chance.) Otherwise, you're gonna have to ask someone else. Hopefully you'll be on IRC sometime when I am this week, and we can sort it out.

Oh yeah, and not ALL of us are sucky nerd-o's. I mean I'm a sucky nerd-o, but that's beside the point...

Look, I wasn't denying the nerd-o part as much as the sucky part. I mean, there are lots of peoples here I would never think of as sucky, unless we're talking about being sucky at being a nerd, in which case nobody here sucks at being a nerd either :-p As for me, I only call myself sucky because I'm an artist-type -- it's virtually required of me to think I suck and everyone else is awesome.

Except for Hoover. I think I suck less than Hoover. ;)

You're loss, Anovis. You're gonna miss out on my goatee and crazy hair and make-up for the show.

OK, not really, as I'll probably get pictures.

Do not tremble and shrink

I'm pretty boned for money so I can't come to the show.
