The MPAA has spoken about Snakes on a Plane. Who's going opening day?

The only movies I have seen the opening day are the LOTR movies.

I will see this one eventually. Whenever it even happens to hit the theaters over here, anyway.

Hmm...I'm not going on opening day (whenever it's released over here), but nor am I likely to see it at any point afterwards. I also don't think it's stupid, I just don't care about it one way or another =/

Movies aren't released on DVD depending on how they do in theaters. Movies have set DVD dates long before they come out in theaters.

Actually there's been a few cases where movies have been rushed to DVD after doing poorly in theaters to try and make up for some of the costs. I can't remember the one film I know came out mere weeks after its theater debut because it did so poorly, at the moment, but I remember some cases of it happening.

I will try to see it opening day. I'll probably forget, though.

I'm glad, however, that it's rated R, since that'll deter a however small amount of retarded 14 year olds from seeing it.

I might see it once it hits the cheapo second-run theaters here in my area. You get pop and popcorn free with the movie ticket there, so its not a bad place to go.

i dunno, im into the cheasy sci-fi horror flicks, so ill see it, just not on opening day

the thread isnt about how bad / good we think its going to be, the question asked if you simply, were, were not, or are never going to see the film, no need for bashing the movie, if it doesnt fit to your viewing pleasure tastes, then fine, thats your opinion
