I got a 2.1, which is better than a 2.2 but worse than a 1 (which is better than everything). This means next year isn't my last year of university and I get a whole bonus year (albeit with lots of work) to enjoy the student lifestyle.

I am now accepting donations for my final year which will be collected and counted one year from now.

T minus 3 days on my AP exam results. I'm really hoping for a 4 or 5 on my Chem exam, that would jsut be awesome, and i should get it, considering i got a 740 on my SAT II for chem.

Apparently mine came out a little while ago, though I haven't heard anything. Expecting a 2.2, going by the amount of work I put in, though I have one more exam in September which I should be able to use to bump up my grade.

Ugh, I'm dreading and looking forward to my AP results. Calc AB should be fine, but Physics C is gonna be really bad.

Hey nice going Det [http://forums.massassi.net/html/biggrin.gif]

I've managed to put off my final year by doing a year in industry (granted, it is compulsory for my degree [http://forums.massassi.net/html/wink.gif]) which means I get to do my 3rd (and final) year in my fourth year, so this time next year, I'll (fingers crossed) be graduating with a BSc in Internet Computing [http://forums.massassi.net/html/wink.gif] - I'm borderline 2.1/2.2 at the moment I believe, but I've got some good modules that I'm hoping can boost me up a bit next year [http://forums.massassi.net/html/biggrin.gif]

Gosh - real world time and those scary things known as jobs (a.k.a occupational hazards for the next 40 years...) [http://forums.massassi.net/html/wink.gif]

Anyways - congrats Det [http://forums.massassi.net/html/biggrin.gif]

[EDIT: Good job I'm not gradutating with a degree in English, as I can't spell "graduate" [http://forums.massassi.net/html/tongue.gif] ]

[EDIT 2: What course are you staying on for? (I'm assuming by staying on a year you mean studying for a masters/PhD?) [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

Oh yeah, that's a point - I was under the impression at my uni that if you wanted to do an MSci you had to decide and finalise it by December in your second year. Does this mean if you get a 2.1 they automatically accept you for the fourth year, or is it just your uni? Or were you signed up for an MSci anyway and they just kick anyone with a lower grade off the course? Is it possible I'm babbling? I think so. Gonna shut up now. Right.

I've got to wait until the 27th of August, I think, for my GCSE results. I just hope I didn't fail English, otherwise I'm pretty much screwed.

The University of North Carolina has finally found a network server that, although missing for four years, hasn't missed a packet in all that time. Try as they might, university administrators couldn't find the server. Working with Novell Inc., IT workers tracked it down by meticulously following cable until they literally ran into a wall. The server had been mistakenly sealed behind drywall by maintenance workers.

I'm doing Computer Science at Warwick.

You can initially apply for the BSc (3 year) or MEng (4 year), the requirement for the 4 year course is that you average a 2.1 in the first two years. I was initially registered for the 3 year course so I had to apply to switch. If you fail to get a 2.1 then you automatically get put on the 3 year course.
