Got hired at Target
2006-08-11, 4:20 PM #1
I just got hired at the new Target their building in Sicklerville, New Jersey that opens October 4th. I will be working in frozen foods. Have any of you guys ever worked there?
All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us.

Every Target around here always has "Now Hiring" posters in the window.

Hah, I live in Williamstown (right next to Sicklerville). I have never worked for Target, but I haven't heard good things about the rates they pay.

I've been working for a cashier at Sam's Club for two monthes now, and I agree, cashiering sucks hard. I gotta get a new job.

When did Target get frozen foods?

The most I've ever seen in any Target is the food court.

I applied at Wal-Mart, but then I got a better job. Now they won't stop calling. :v:
If you think the waiters are rude, you should see the manager.

Right now my local Target is getting expanded and 'upgraded'
we're getting a Starbucks, and they're putting in another Pizza Hut location (even though there is one with a third of a mile on the other side of the mall its across from).

bastards are closing off the best entrance to the place too, which really sucks.

ew. frozen sucks. sorry. but at least you get to be in the backroom most of the time. we listen to the radio all day, and you get to eat and drink. make sure you're cool(PUNS) with very low temperatures, and you'll be fine. i'm too big of a ***** to work frozen.

but... you might be like a frozen salesfloor person, which is nice, because you dont have that much time in the freezer itself. more of bringing frozen things to the floor to stock.

either way, dont let it become a career. im coming up on my 2 year mark VERY soon and it's VERY scary for me.
