Oh, random tidbit that I didn't really get to tell everyone at the time.
At the top of the scene that I'm in during the last show, one of my contact lenses decided to be mean and be all "I'm going to randomly make your eye feel like it's being stabbed." As you can imagine, I was thinking "Holy crap, my eye!" and was trying desperately to think how I could make it feel better while on stage. However, I'm supposed to be an aloof, detached sort of archangel, and I had done most of my acting through my eyes alone (I would often give an evil glare at Jerameel to my left without turning my head, which was hard as is). So at one point, I put my hand to my face (which was hopefully taken as "Dear Lord, won't this meeting end?") in a vain attempt to poke the corners of my eyes and get them wet. I actually shed a tear during the scene at one point... fortunately, it stopped half-way through. Worst time for a contact to act up, really...
Also, I generally give myself a hard time on my annunciation. "The only
inalienable gift..." Ugh, hate that word. And saying "ta" instead of "to" and "squabbling" in only two syllables and "crater" instead of "Creator" and... yeah, I'll shush now.
