I thought you had the comprehension to understand my point of view. Obviously, this isn't the case.
In case of events that the secular world were to be without plauges, diseases, cancers, or other causes for a natural death, things would get out of hand. I'm not talking about Malthusism, as that is a topic used hundreds of years ago in the same anticipation in which it is used today, with no consequence. Death needs purge every once in a while. This is one way to do it. Just like baby boomers born after a major war, a disease is there to collect to balance life out. Jarl is right too. We do get more diseases, but with each overcoming, the human body gains from it a strength. If there was no powerful obstacles to overcome, life will be stagnat.
Eternal I rise impalpable out of the land and the bottomless sea,
Upward to heaven, whence, vaguely form'd, altogether changed, and yet the same,
I descend to lave the drouths, atomies, dust-layers of the globe,
And all that in them without me were seeds only, latent, unborn;
And forever, by day and night, I give back life to my own origin, and make pure and beautify it;
[EDIT:] I want to edit my post for clarifications when I get home from work.
