Sarn's post reminded me of the movie, Brick. This movie is downright f***ing awesome. Seriously, I've never seen a better detective movie (granted, I haven't seen many), the acting was impeccable, and the story itself engaging. Somehow the characters all seem to mesh extremely well and the actors do a good job of portraying their intended roles. If you haven't seen this already (in select theaters) I would suggest getting the DVD if you can (I dunno what retailers would carry it, but the official site www.brickmovie.net lets you buy it). Try it from Netflix if you want (a great opportunity to use their free trial), Blockbuster, Movie Gallery, and/or Hollywood Video may carry it, not sure, but I wouldn't count on it.

Either way, go see this movie. It's f***ing amazing.

A friend recommended it to me but I thought it looked stupid. I don't know if I'll see it yet.

Ooh, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, he's awesome. I might check it out.

It's definitely available at Blockbuster, I was surprised to see seven copies come into the store I work at.

I was surprised to see my local Wal-mart carrying it. If I wasn't strapped for cash I would have picked it up when I saw it was out. I remember seeing a trailer for it (even though it never played in my area at all) and I've wanted to see it.

It's every bit as awesome as the trailer showed. Seriously. It wins.

I saw it at Wal-Mart. I'm surprised its out on DVD so soon, I just saw the trailer not long ago. I want to see it, so I imagine it will be the first Netflix I get in the mail when I set up my account.
