PS: Topic related, try the actual dreamweaver homepage [http://forums.massassi.net/html/wink.gif] - if you've got a full version of the software, it comes with a huge range of topics, information and help, so try perusing those [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

Gah, use Homesite 5. Coding html by hand is the one way to go b/c wysiwyg tools make very difficult-to-read code that is hard to make changes to later.

using wysiwyg tools is like using steroids, IMO. it's a cheap way to get some results w/o the benefits and experience that comes with learning html and doing it yourself.

The University of North Carolina has finally found a network server that, although missing for four years, hasn't missed a packet in all that time. Try as they might, university administrators couldn't find the server. Working with Novell Inc., IT workers tracked it down by meticulously following cable until they literally ran into a wall. The server had been mistakenly sealed behind drywall by maintenance workers.

Of course, there's a nifty program for web pages. Notepad, I think it's called.

GBK may have been a smart *** , but he certainly hit the nail on the head. Whenever you're looking for tutorials, use google.

Ummm... I hand coded a PHP site in Dreamweaver. Dreamweaver is far from just another WYSIWYG tool.

Dreamweaver is one of the best webpage design tools out there. It really isnt just a wsywig editor.

I personally suggest learning php if you want to get into website scripting. Use google to find some tutorial websites, there are plenty of them out there.
