Found this little guy under my deck, by the pool filter.

Stats:
length of body - 2 cm (0.79")
length when stretched out - 4 cm (1.57")
width - 1 cm (0.39")
height (when sitting) - 1.5 cm (0.59")
height (when laying? I don't know if frogs lay or not) - 0.6 cm (0.24")

we have a bunch of those around my place... little tiny frogs. and frogs in the pool filter is nothing new. they fall in my dad's all the time. (along with snakes, spiders, bees, crickets, once we even found a turtle in there [http://forums.massassi.net/html/tongue.gif])

Looks like a toad to me. The warts are the give away as frogs don't have them. As far as toads go, it's not that big

That's a common American Toad (Bufo americanus). Nice one though. They make good pets. Feed him crickets and flies and he'll get pretty big.

All these names ("froad", "tog") are nice, but I'm actually rather interested in finding out what species this thing is. I couldn't find anything that looks like it on the internet, except for a "striped chorus frog" which is about the same size but has different colours (most notably that the striped chorus frog has a black stripe running down both sides, and this one doesn't). But yah, it's probably a toad anyways.
