Windows XP Pro

Actually there's an interesting story as to how I ended up with the professional version instead of the home version; you see I had the home version on my computer until I reformatted in the summer of 2005, and the professional version was given to me as a gift from a former teacher who lives down the road from us whose living room I helped lay wood flooring in; come to think of it he also gave me office 2003 because he bought it but never used it, similar to the reason he gave me XP pro; incidentally i recently helped out at his house with some landscaping he was doing and i was at the visitation for his mother yesterday (the funeral was today) and as a final thought in this extraordinarily long sentence I just sent Zloc_Vergo a picture of his granddaughter who is about the same age as him.

At this point, I prefer Linux over Windows. The only reason why I keep windows around at all is for gaming.

Actually, I'm using Three OS's *right* now:

My laptop is boring XP.
I am compiling stuff on a Solaris 10 box.
and My stereo system is FreeBSD.

I just voted BSD cuz noone else had.

Code to the left of him, code to the right of him, code in front of him compil'd and thundered. Programm'd at with shot and $SHELL. Boldly he typed and well. Into the jaws of C. Into the mouth of PERL. Debug'd the 0x258.

It would also be me. Though I don't think I've ever mentioned it here before, we have 2 or 3 computer labs running Red Hat. You can tell who the cool people are because they use the linux labs and not the windows ones.

XP Home.

I'd like to switch over to Linux, or OS X, but I like me games. And my sister uses this computer as well.

But I'm definitely going to dual-boot if I get a lappy. Probably Ubuntu and XP Home (Vista when it comes out).

did you just say "lappy?"
