Well, I just got ride of my slower, 384kbps ADSL connection for my 5meg RoadRunner connection.. and it's a huge leap. I had no problems with DSL and I could've gotten up to 1.5megs but I think my distance from the CO limited my connection speed, and it was time to move up anyway.

I like DSL, and working for a major DSL company I have learned much about it.. But it will never be as good as cable or fiber optics, DSL is simply out of it's time.. but is affordable for some who can't stand dial-up connection, when cable can be $20 or more a month.

The only thing that sucks is a 512k upload speed..

Anyway, post your connection speeds.

I'm on 128k GPRS...not much better than regular dial-up.
Looks like we're not going down after all, so nevermind.

Wireless here. Usually gets between 900 - 1200 kbps (though on rare ocassions I've seen it as low as 300 k and as high as 1500 k).

SATELLITE! 80 kb/s down, between 1 - 8 kb/s up, and 170mb bandwidth that I can use before I have to stop and let the internet regenerate.

I'm litterally 300 feet from cable/dsl.
I had a blog. It sucked.

I have a 5mb cable line, 256 kbps up, which I hate.

I'm paying $34.99 per month I believe.

I'm on 10mbps Blueyonder broadband. Not that I feel the crazy megaspeed. Since my wireless connection cuts that to pieces.
Hey, Blue? I'm loving the things you do. From the very first time, the fight you fight for will always be mine.
