Yep, I've never had a problem with spyware or popups with firefox... ever.

You could use Norton ad blocker if you have the firewall.

new version of IE has a popup blocker (SP2 RC2, I assume SP2 will be released properly quite soon).

bout time! finally m$ got on the bandwagon w/ popup blockers but i bet it will still "let thorough" popup relating w/ m$ profit.

Too bad it still has all the security flaws, I'll guarantee. Or maybe a few of them have been fixed. Maybe.

IE can die for all I care. The only time I open it now is if I'm having a trouble getting something to disply in Firefox or if I think Firefox is misbehaving. And I do it very reluctantly. I can't stand IE anymore. I go to use it and try to open links in a new tab and the option isn't there. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/frown.gif]

It's also rumored to have spyware built in.

I've used the Opera built in popup blocker for nearing two years. You know what? I've never had a single pop up.
