I'm ready to go back to school. I know some places have already started, and I start again on Monday.

I miss my friends, I miss not being around my brother all day, I miss being forced to play a sport at recess because you don't want to be a fool in front of girls. I'll regret saying this, but I think it'll be worth the homework to go back to school. Especially since last year I got really social...

Now I won't make this a depressing "Oh woe is me.." thread, but rather ask for input.

Are you ready to go back to school (including college) or were you ready for school if you've already started?
I had a blog. It sucked.

Im ready for school. Of course, being a junior in highschool I will have aproximently 2 real classes. English, History. Although english basicly means going to a coffee shop and then to the beach, and writing all of one paragraph per week. History will be a once a month class, almost entirely based on doing packets. Other then those, I will have health(also known as hiking class), puget sound explorers (a maritime class, basicly rowing/sailing/superawesome), music, cooking(cook 50 meals a trimester.. at home), and -possibly- tai chi.

WTF kind of school do you go to?

I started school this Monday. It was a new school, and I LOVE IT! Its nothing like my old crap school and everyone is actually social and good with me. Teachers think I'm smart, and its not very labour demanding.
Nothing to see here, move along.

I started last Thursday at mother****in' KU. It's a total skeetshot, if you catch my drift. No? Then let me explain. It rox the chox of ur sox, zomglol.

It's really nice here, excellent campus, good classes, decent to great instructors (except for the COMS 130 instructor with a horrible stutter) and good people... and a couple hot archi major girls in my studio... mmm.

The only time I was ever apprehensive about starting school was in making the transitions from Junior -> High -> College. It's just the whole lack of familiarity that's most intimidating. After the first week or so I always settled down quite easily. Most of the time I was getting bored by the end of summer anyway, so I wanted to go back.

Every second of the eight and a half hours of the day I spend at work, I'm wishing I was back at college. I go back on September 14th. It can't come soon enough.

I'm packing to go back to school - I move in on saturday and it starts on monday. I'm pretty excited to be going back, though I'm also kind of sad for summer to be over. Overall though, I'm pretty happy; I miss my MBC homies. And being somewhat independent. Not looking forward to the crazy busy schedule or to my 9 am accounting class though.

I'm really looking forward to start college next week, even if none of my high school friends and classmates are going there. I started to learn programming on my own for the past year so it'll be a joy to do homework. :v:

I go back to RCC for like a 5th year now (Yes, I'm going that slow) to take some graphic and multimedia coarses. I'll be taking four classes this semester (most of taken so far... damn fees!) but only 2 of them are 5 weeks long each so I don't start those 2 until october and november.

KUsuxbadlol.

But seriously, I hate KU, I hate Lawrence, I hate K-State, and I hate all of Kansas. Brainwashing and all that. We're (MU) going to kick your *** this year. This is the year of change and retribution.

I went back this Monday. School sucks as usual. The professors basically read the book at us, and they speak. incredibly. slowly. because. they. all. can't. speak. English. very. well. at. all.

CECS is getting really boring, but at least most of it is CE this year. I'm about burned out on programming.

Yeah, back to school.

Technically this is also my last year... and I want to make it so.

Yet I should get to university after that. But probably not, oh lolar bear.

I'm actually happy to go back to school because then I won't have to work every day.

School starts of monday, actually kind of excited for it. Mostly because of theater/friends.

On a side note, my school completely got rid of lockers. So I guess I have to carry around 40-50 pounds of books and binders around all day, everyday. The kind blows, but whatever.

Well, aside from having to leave home/my gf again, I'm really excited about going back to school. Then again, I have the trouble of not knowing what classes to take, but that's part of the fun...

No school for me this year. I took a year off to get some work and to find out which study would fit me best.

School is a break to me. Because that means I no longer have to work 65 hours a week between two jobs.

College in T-72 hours.

Also Pommy- My school had lockers too. They excelled in giving you a locker as far away as possible from every class. I don't think I even saw my locker Junior or Senior year, I just carried things...

You'll be fine. Just try and meet a bunch of people. Then you'll have people to run around with, and you'll have more fun that way.

this thread amuses me acually, because a friend of mine from high school just got nostalgic and he looked through all of our old and abandoned xangas to find quotes from our senior year. It's the most touching, sappy and sentimental thing I've ever read.
