Anyone watched this series? It was on in the early 90s.

My dad and I have been watching it (DVD and VHS) throughout the summer, we finally finished tonight. I want to talk about it with people, find out their theories and ideas.

Anyone here ever watch it? If you haven't, I highly recommend it, if you can get your hands on copies.

That's one I'm really interested in, both the movie and the series.

So I guess I'll stop reading this thread now.

Been meaning to get the boxset for ages now. My dad watched some of it and said it was really good, so were looking for it to watch together.

Huge Twin Peaks / David Lynch fan here! Twin Peaks = Best TV series ever.

Anyway, did you see it all the way to the end, or only to the point where Laura's murder is solved? Because over here they only sell the first season on DVD. All in all it's three seasons I think.

Oh and don't forget to watch the 'Fire Walk With Me' movie after finishing the series!

I wanna see it. It sounds really good. There were a bunch of references in League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, and I'm trying to improve my literacy by absorbing everything mentioned in the series so far.
The only thing that sounds "off" to me is the fact that the girl's killer was never supposed to be revealed but the network made them do it, so the whole series got a little out of whack.

I bought my dad the First Season DVDs as a present. (That's all they make) And then I borrowed Season 2 VHS box set from my friend. (There were only two seasons) I watched it all the way through.

The Killer is revealed, about halfway through the series. It takes a downturn for an episode or two, and then picks right back up.

Fire Walk With Me (The movie) is essentially two hours of softcore pornography.. so... yeah. :p

"This is the best damn cup of joe..."

Who was your favorite character? Mine was, by far, Log Lady, followed by Cooper, and then General Hammond. (Major Briggs, but I always refer to him by his Stargate: SG1 role)

Over here in the Netherlands they cut some of the episodes in two, so they broadcast it in three seasons. Ok, characters:

The whole FBI team is genius.

My favourite character is Gordon Cole. (Played by Mr. David Lynch himself) That scene where he's kissing with Shelly when Bobby walks into the Diner. Hi-la-ri-ous!

"TAKE ANOTHER LOOK SONNY! IT'S GOING TO HAPPEN AGAIN!"

and Albert Rosenfeld!

"...sounds like you've been snacking on some of the local mushrooms."

This guy's sarcasm is unequalled.

And Cooper, ofcourse.

The Log lady is awesome. BENJAMIN HORNE! Especially after he loses it, haha.

And yes, Garland Briggs.

The two coolest are the dwarf and the giant though.

Yes! My dad's favorite character is Gordon.

I had a theory that he couldn't really hear Shelly, and he was just wooing her. *shrug*

I'm moving to college in the next day or so, but hit me up on AIM or MSN if you have it. (superhappydud/Sir_happydud@hotmail.com) I'd love to talk more about it.

Didn't watch it (didn't even know it was on TV, though), but I guess I could someday.
