The question is. Do you still play it?

I do but mostly only for the UMS [Use Map Setting] stuff

Warcraft 3. Maybe when you get a comptuer that isn't 8 years old you'll figure out why it kicks SC's ***.

I never played much SC, so my opinion is null and void in this case. That was just me trying to get TE to play a new game.

I can't even remember what level I was on in SP, I think it was like 2/3 way through Terran.

It's been a long time since I've played StarCraft. I was always more a fan of the AoE series when it came to strategy games.

I always liked Starcraft more than Warcraft.

Anyway, you can't really judge the game by the first 2/3 of the terran campaign. The Zerg and Protoss campaigns are so different (from each other, as well as from the terran), and the story starts to kick in towards the end of the terran campaign, which is also quite gripping.

I want SC2...

All I remember is that the Zerg were created by the Confederates or whoever . I was on the first mission where you get to BUILD ghosts and nukes. Right after the one where the General's stranded in the middle of a Zerg base and you have to go rescue him, I believe.

YES. RA2 was awesome. Never got YR though...sadly.

Only the best mod for RA2 ever. It's like an unofficial expansion. It adds a whole new depth to the game. Tons of new units, functions, features, without breaking the style and design of the original game.

And I -NEVER- played with 'use map settings'. I couldn't stand that ****ty crap everyone was always playing with their idiotic little 'rpg' maps and those ones that made anime faces in the minimap. I only play it 'normal', and almost always on Big Game Hunters.

There needs to be a "never really played it in the first place" option.
I never got into the game, except for some of them rpg type maps, some of them were cool.

Oh, and that deezire link isn't working for me.

Bah, sorry. It's been a year or so probably since I played the game more than a few levels. I did play the first couple levels in June when I stayed up all night, but then I switched to WC3

Played it through a few times, as well as some of the skirmish maps. Never played online though, and it hasn't been installed for a long time.
