Anyone bother fixing up MaDa's site? Seems like the site breaking down on itself (images no longer works, atleast for me.)

The site also had his textures which I used in some parts of my map. So that too.

Maybe upload the site on a better server for the sake of it?

It looks like something happened to the CSS file.

[ Nevermind - looking at the source code, there's no CSS ]

I can see the images in Opera, but not firefox. Odd. Still doesn't look right in opera, it's all stretched into oblivion.

I'm trying to fix it right now. IE won't render any colors, or anything, but looking at the source everything seems fine. It appears as though (at least for the front page) I have to rewrite every single line of the HTML. Saving the file and opening it up locally has the same result, but any new HTML code that I put into the page works fine, but copying and pasting the old HTML doesn't work at all. It's like it's being recognized, but not actually rendered, and I can't figure out why. Every other page works, and I just changed the direction of the index page so at least the old stuff works (except the forums).

I have the originals of the actual site still, and normally just re-uploading the files can fix it, but I'm having trouble finding a good backup of the main page I created, (which is the page that is broken) to reupload.

If anybody knows of an easier way to fix it I'd gladly hear it, but I don't want to change any of the site's original coding, because I want to preserve as much of it as possible.

I don't know if you changed anything, FCTuner04. But it looks fine for me in Firefox

Works fine on my Firefox.

I changed the front page of the site to the original front page. I had made my own kind of explaining the story behind it and with some links to some new memorial content among other stuff, and when I made a change to a link in the page the page broke. In IE you can definitely tell it doesn't work, in firefox, and Safari, among others, it looks moderatlely normal, with some odd quirks. Go to http://www.thelimelite.net/index2.htm to see the page I created and to see the problems that occurred.

Yes, it looks great now! I will also say that I found many of MaDa's long lost textures a long time ago and posted them here. Some people got a little bit angry last time, so I won't do it again, but if anyone wants to see some of his missing textures, just send me a PM and I'll give you the link.

P.S. It's so sad to read over MaDa's last posts. I don't know if he really had any idea how much longer he had. :(

I have it somewhere.

Not totally full, misses some of the random posts like 3 months after the thread was posted or so.

I think I have a portion of it saved too. Too bad the forum virus thing knocked the original one out.

Same virus also took away the ultimate SWG Forum ramble thread.

I think I have some pages of it saved somewhere too.
