I need some help. I'm going to be leading a paintball squad in a 10 vs 10 match. The terrain is 3000 square meters. It has trenches, hills, sand bags, bushes, trees, and two fortresses. We will be playing direct elimination. I have organized the squad into the following hierachy.

Units: Made up of 1 leader and 3 soldiers
2 units: Alpha & Bravo
1 Support unit: Consists of me and a 2nd in command friend.

I'm currently making and getting a map of the area. In short, I need tips and a lot of advice. I want to go in as prepared as possible.
Nothing to see here, move along.

Wear bright colours and run about flailing your arms.

See, they'll all be looking for people sneaking about in dark camoflague.
nope.

If you've never played before, no amount of advice beyond "wear camo" will help you too much going into a large-scale 10v10 woods match. If you have played before, you problably don't need advice.

Although if you're really going to break up into groups and try to do something other than Lone Wolf, try to get small radios for inside your masks (oh noes, that costs money!)

We have radios. We are not buying the equipment. Its beeing rented to us, and apparently we'll make a side bet, that if we win, will be able to pay all our expenses.

If the owners ask if anyone is celebrating a special occasion, do NOT volunteer your group. They are NOT going to give you free ammunition.

Not quite sure what you mean, but any how. The paintball course is fairly new. It opened yesturday, and I was contacted, because I'm known for bringing my friends in me into events (soccer games, baseball, etc). Any how, here is the deal:

In a 10vs10 match squad leaders don't pay anything. Squad members must all pay 20 bucks. The team receives equipment, 100 rounds per members plust a box containing 2000 rounds. This deal will only last this month. Match ends when ammo ends. Unlimited number of rounds and time. Many playable scenarios, however we will most likely take death match. I'm interested in basic rural foot tactics. Any good links?

Just a painful memory. We were asked that question the first time I went paintballing. A friend replies, "Well...we've all just finished our GCSE's." The guy goes and gets a big cardboard box and gets us to come forward. Once we've all been lined up, he hands out bright fluorescent vests :(
