Hey, Blue? I'm loving the things you do. From the very first time, the fight you fight for will always be mine.

Roach. How do you survive at that resolution? Even for someone who doesn't care much about their computer, I don't understand how you can use a computer at that resolution.
I had a blog. It sucked.

I got tired of it being so dark, so what's better than a Mac OS theme to lighten things up? Also, this wallpaper is the Bee's Knees.

Not sure if it's agenst the rules to say but 4chan has some awsome wall paper sections, although if you're under 18 I don't suggest you go there due to the pornography that is also it's agenst the law for you to agree to the terms of service... but who listens to those anyways.

I've actually never visited that place, although I suppose I should, since I've been hearing about it every now and then. And it's bothersome to see references to something you aren't at all familiar with.

However, I don't actually mind poor sources, because I like the editing work in PS. If the background was perfect to begin with, it wouldn't take more than a couple of clicks in the properties windows to use it. What fun would that be?

Hahaha enjoy your soul-death :D.

But in all seriousness, if you go there for the anime you can probably find all you need on the nominally worksafe boards.

I'm working on a vector one myself.

Wow... how do you keep the OS stable with all those processes running?
2006-09-14, 12:51 AM #78
Considering that at least half of those are terminal windows, and another percentage are a text editor (is it Kate? I can't tell from the taskbar icon), everything should be fine and stable. Now if you had 20 clones of Cedega, amarok, and Xine running, then yeah, even Linux would probably start choking. Though there's no reason to run 20 instances of each, so no problem.

Though I am curious gbk, why do you use seperate terminal windows and not just tabs?

One instance of Kate, some ~13 of KWrite, and one or two of KEdit.

Xterm doesnt support tabs, for one, and I dont really care for the tab support in Konsole.

I usually have far more process than that running. KDE's alt-tab menu never works for me -- too many things running. That workstation has an uptime of 93 days, and several of those apps have been running for all of that. And the only reason the uptime is that short is beause its power supply went out 93 days ago -- it had 130 days of uptime before that.

I love Linux. :D
