Just upgraded to a dual core processor. It's an AMD dual-core Opteron at 1.81 ghz. And I've got a GeForce 7600 GS. Running beta version of Windows Vista temporarily. Will be running Windows XP Professional.

To commemorate, here's a screenshot from Windows Vista. :)
It's quite sexy.

I kind of agree. While the My Computer icon and the Recycle bin look pretty cool to me, the IE icon and the circular Start menu are real turnoffs.

False. And the latest builds run much, much faster. Beta 2 was also a debug build.
