Just a heads up to you all here at massassi, Gamespot is offering free beta keys to join up the multiplayer beta test of Dark Messiah. Be warned that you must install the dreaded Steam (:rolleyes:) and be a gamespot member (even the free account works)

Hope to see you all in game :D

Well that was fun, if a bit laggy. But I guess thats simply due to the servers being used by the tons.

Still needs tweaking and balancing though.

I heard that the kick totally sucks. Kinda takes the fun out of it, doesn't it?

Actually the kick in multiplayer is useless. But I don't think thats the point of the game....

Its pretty much an Unreal Tournament Domination mode meets medieval times with classes.

I guess you need gaming skills to be good, its not like an mmorpg

I could be good, but you realize at this point that the net still isn't great for close up combat. We'll see once the full game is out, but at this point its a real pain because say you play a warrior, people warp all over the place so its hard to face off in a serious duel.

Might be that too many morons just don't look at their ping when they join a server though. I play on servers where my latency is between 40 and 90, but then you have the idiots with over 150-300 ping playing.
