It's fairly old, but still good, and semi-unknown. Always fun. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

It's a good mod but I don't really care for mindless deathmatch games. Give me a team based game like NS anyday and I'll be happy.

very true... although plan vanilla HL multiplayer just isn't anywhere near as good as the SP.

The University of North Carolina has finally found a network server that, although missing for four years, hasn't missed a packet in all that time. Try as they might, university administrators couldn't find the server. Working with Novell Inc., IT workers tracked it down by meticulously following cable until they literally ran into a wall. The server had been mistakenly sealed behind drywall by maintenance workers.

Yes, The Specialists is awesome. I kinda wish it had a larger variety of game modes, though. But my favorite HL mod has to be Existence. Or was, until it shut down and the all the servers were taken over by a "clan" of elitist *******s. Hmmm...Perhaps I (or someone else) could set up a server...

I liked NS until people started ******** at me when I tried to get familiar with Gorging or using the Commanders chair. I dont remember anyone else in the game being particularly great at commander at the time...

Nothing like mowing down a bunch of allied players with the MG42... ah.. refreshing.

Yeah, that is the only drawback with the NS community. It is much more uptight and downright vicious than any other HL community. It even makes CS's community look tame by comparison. Thankfully, not all of them are that bad and they are only that way towards newbies (not saying the latter is a good thing, mind you. Just stating another reason that they aren't always horrible.)
