SAJN, you bum! You started this thread a day early! Thanks.
First off, thank you all for wishing me a happy birthday, whether it was here or on myspace/facebook! I love all the pictures here -- the Link with a cake (even if he SHOULD be holding it over his head like when he gets an item), the MS Paint version of the infamous birthday pic (and the infamous b-day pic too, of course) and the Geb pic with his stack of donut-cakes! Of course, the best way to celebrate my birthday is to get involved with something ISB-related.
As for my birthday, it was awesome! Way more fun than I thought it'd be. My one friend Pat (Semievil333) arrived first, and I helped prepare for dinner, then my friends Mason and An, and then my dad and my sister as I went to pick up my friend Brian (Antestarr) whom I was lucky enough to have around (long story involving his transit flight to Kuwait not being booked so he's stuck here). My dad grilled some marinated steaks, I steamed some green beans and Pat (with a little of my help) made home-made mashed potatoes (though he didn't understand why leaving it a little lumpy with the skins was good, but I did!) Right before dinner, An and I made my chocolate birthday cake from SCRATCH, which I'm rather proud of, as I've never baked before (or even cooked much for that matter), and it was GOOD! (It was also messy-fun) In the past, Mason and Pat were the ones usually in charge of food, so I made it a point to kick them out of the kitchen for the cake in particular. Three layers of cake and craploads of chocolate frosting (which we also made from scratch)! Afterwards, I watched this awesome comedy powerpoint stand-up show involving a Google-based game, and that was amazing! And the story the guy tells is NON-FICTIONAL! It's
insane! And that was mostly my day.
"But Geb," you all say, "this thread is worthless without pictures!" You're right, of course, so here are some (I manage to look Satan-like in all of then

). The pictures are, as follows:
1) me holding some oil like a salesperson. Look at how paper-thin I am!

2) me mixing the frosting with An
3) me (with Pat hiding behind me), Brian and An with my finished birthday cake. That "2" candle was falling over, and there's 3 individual candles, making 23.
