Simple question:

For the guys: Do you prefer your face to have facial hair or be clean-shaven? Why or why not? If the former, please specify your preference (full beard, goatee, moustache, etc.)

For the girls (or guys who are gay): Same question, but on other guys, not yourself. :P

EDIT: forgot some options. Also, I voted "wussy answer" because it matters more to me what the ladies think than what I think -- personally, both facial hair and clean-shaven have their pros and cons.

Guys shouldn't try to grow facial hair until they are old enough to grow it thick and full. That's around 25 for most guys, at least. Some earlier. Jews around 12.

I've sported some form a facial hair for most of the last four years or so. Mostly a chintee and sideburns. A full beard at times. I like having it because I look really young and baby faced when I'm clean shaven. I say give it a shot. Nothing to lose really. If you don't like it, you can always shave it off.

Facial hair. I wish it could be thicker. But alas, that's all my DNA will allow.

I can't get myself to care over someone having facial hair or not. It's not interesting by any scale.

I prefer clean-shaven on myself though... also because I never was able to grow it all out Karl Marx style. :(

Clean-shaven to maybe a couple days' worth of stubble. Anything more looks ridiculous on me.

I think some guys are good with some stuble or you know a little facial hair, and others (majority of guys) look hottest clean shaven

so it depends on the guy

Shaving is for women.

And saddy I can't grow a decent beard.

but shaving just isn't worth the trouble.
So I just "trim"

I keep it short enough that it doesn't look too scraggly but I never clean shave.
haven't been clean shaven in about 6 years.

At the moment, I've got a bit of beard growth going on. Not enough for a full beard, but I'd definately shave it before going out. But since I haven't had an excuse to lately I haven't bothered shaving out of laziness :)

Personally, I prefer a bit of stubble. A day or two's worth (enough to make it noticeable). Clean shaven feels good, but I like the look.

I wish I could grow facial hair, but I can't. :(

I once had a dream that I had a full beard, and then I woke up to my hairless face. It sucked.

Sometimes stubble would come off as "I'm a felon," depending on the face of course.

I'm a pretty big fan of clean shaven guys. The 5 o'clock shadow can be pretty hot on some guys too, but i we're talking overall, I tend to like clean-cut guys.

Because my facial hair looks exactly like my bodily hair except thinner, I naturally prefer to keep it clean shaven. If I had more of it, I might've grown a beard.

I usually opt for clean shaven or 5'oclock shadow look. I used to just use the sideburn edge of the electric razor to have perpetual stubble and when I shaved for real one of my friends was like "There's something different about you...."

Clean shaven ftw. Though it's interesting when you camp outside for the night, dry shave your face in the dark in the morning, and find ant parts all in your razor. @_@

I don't shave yet? I have a friend who attempted shaving for the first time last night though-- he poppecd a pimple on his face and it started bleeding :P

Facial Hair. I have a butt-chin thanks to my mom. I cover it with a well maintained goatee. Though, in the month of May I'll be removing the chin hair and leaving only a hoagan stasche for Mustasche May. :)

The thing i find most annoying is that guys who have the potential to grow super awesome beards dont and are usally stupid clean cut guys with 10 pounds of grease in their hair. Where as the kids who want beards only have butt fluff. My advice is, shave shave shave until it comes in thick. Like kenny loggins:

My girlfriend, however, CANNOT STAND my facial hair. Sometimes I rub my whiskers on her cheeks and she cries. I'm awesome like that.

Last time i shaved my sideburns off it revealed an AWFUL sideburn tanline. Big poofy sideburns win.
