I'm sick of my job, I just can't stand it anymore. I'm a cashier at Sam's Club. It's not like it's hard, or stressful, but that's exactly why I hate it. It's so boring and unchanging, and there's no challenge to it. It is by far the worst job I've had even though it pays decent for what you do.
Maybe one good thing will come out of it. I get to have real quick chats with customers if there's actually something to chat about. The other day, a man in an army uniform was checking out, and I asked him if he serves at the nearby camp. He said yes, and that he's also the head of recruiting for the Army National Guard for all of Texas. I thought that was cool, and he even gave me some info as far as joining up (like any good recruiter would do). The thing is, it actually sounded good. He said it I could just do weekends earning about $300 a weekend, and they offer financial aid for college students. So I'm going to find out some more and give it some thought.
Anyone else have some helpful insight?
