Precisely what happened. Actually, it has screws independent of that (because one side is a custom thing), so I was screwing and unscrewing and pulling and prying and trying to find buttons...

-I almost posted here about it. Maybe I did, I can't remember. I do remember taking pics of it, though, I still have them around.

Once when i was a kid i switched the little voltage thing on the back of my 486 power supply to 110. It resulted in a smokey bbq scented psu.
Take that there and put it in here

Last night, I was writing a C program which would check to see if a linear time-invariant system was BIBO stable using the Jury Criterion and I accidently used abs() instead of fabs() with a double. :gbk:

:( Yeah, cmath.h knows better than that. I'm usually pretty good about not making dumb mistakes like that one, but they still crop up from time to time, even with -Wall.

Nope, Bounded Input/Bounded Output. Read about it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BIBO_stability

I once included <stdio.h> instead of <cstdio>.

Then I went on to write a polymorphic class without a virtual destructor. Wow, I suck.
Wikissassi sucks.

the other night:
<Genki> i can't remember, which section of an IDE cable is for Master?
<Genki> the end or the middle?
<Aglar> the one closest to the motherboard
<Aglar> middle
<Genki> k
<Jon`C> Genki: Whichever one is connected to the IDE device with the jumpers set to master.
<Jon`C> seriously. what the hell? it's a shared (multiplexed) bus
<Jon`C> that's like asking (or suggesting) which end of a cat5 cable is for the server :V

minutes later:

<Genki> i flip the cable over and in big letters on each half 'SLAVE' 'MASTER'
