... how some people can be so ignorant.

My little sister thought Feel Like Making Love, by Bad Company, was a Kid Rock original upon his performance of it on the Big in 2003 awards on VH1. She's almost 18. There's no need of this.

[Edit: It was early in the morning.. It sounded funny to me at the time]

And yes, it would be different if she was like.. 12, but 18, that's inexcuseable

It's just music. Who really cares anyway? [http://forums.massassi.net/html/tongue.gif]

I probably couldn't tell you who sung any of those songs either... heck I haven't even heard of most of them.

The roof is on fire was re-released a few years ago. Most of the people I was hanging around with at the time loved this 'new' song.

Indeed, if she was 10 then it might make sense. But watching Kid Rock at 18? Too mature for that. Sure he may look all cool and all when ya don't know anything at a tender age, but 18? How can you let her rot her miiind?

Yes I'm done.

You know, you could casually mention to her who originally wrote the song instead of being a jerk by posting on the internet about it and calling her (and people like her) ignorant (which, we are all ignorant about something, but none the less the word has a negative connotation to it). I find it sad that your "little" sister is 18 and you have yet to "grow up".

Yeah, someone at school thought that song that "Uncle Cracker" (or something like that) sang "Gimme the Beat Boys" was his original song.
I could have smacked them in the face.

That's especially bad considering Kurt says at the end "That was a David Bowie song"

Actually, David Bowie was saying stuff like that really was Nirvana's song because he liked it so much.

My favorite song on the Pixies' album Trompe le Monde is Head On. Imagine my surprise when I found out that it was a Jesus and Mary Chain cover.
