Wow that was a lot of slow motion

I've been looking forward to that for awhile...

I'm mixed about it - Frank Miller and Spartans sounds good... but it looks weird...

The battle of Thermopylae rocks. This looks really cool.

Looks like Sin City and Troy had a love child.

A terrible and evil child.

Frank Miller's a psychopath.

-I'd love to see an Infinities comic by him about Vader. That would be awesome.

Awesome. I hope they do Miller's Hard Boiled soon. One of my favourite graphic novels.

Yey for Zack Snyder!
Looks like we're not going down after all, so nevermind.

Did anyone else see a character who looked like a humanoid Jabba the Hutt with swords for arms!?

Meh, doesn't look great.
nope.

I don't know who this Frank Miller is, nor do I care, but that looks like a damn good movie. Also, anyone that didn't like Troy is an elitist wanker.

You liked Troy?

I'm so...I think sorry might be the right word.

Troy was entertaining. Sheesh. I wasn't looking for a deep and moving well crafted character study masterpiece.

Anyway, this looks reaaaaaaaaallly overwrought. I'll probably see it for the spectacle of it though.

It kind looks interesting, but what's the background of it? I've never really heard of it.

Basically its a film based on a comic based on the story of the Battle of Thermopylae where 300 Spartans (and 700 Thespians) delayed a huge army of Persians in a mountain pass for several days, sacrificing themselves to save the rest of the retreating Greek army and inflicting incredible losses on the Persians.

I always get a kick out of this.

I'm a Frank Miller fan but I predict that this movie could be his last as I would be surprised if it isn't a flop. Hopefully they didn't spend too much on it.

It won't be his last, especially since Sin City is going to be kicking out sequels.

I saw the 1962 The 300 Spartans. I guess this will be a tad bit different.

Come on, story by Miller and directing by Snyder, give this a little more credit. It's supposed to be epic and comic-esque, just like Sin City was epic and comic-esque.

The below pic illustrates the Frank Miller writing process.

-The crazy part? It's still a pretty decent product.
