Last time I had access to the internet, I swore I had the server set up such that it wouldn't run out of disk space and cause downtime as we have had happen numerous times in the past. However, this time it was a different error, apache suddenly couldn't bind to port 443 and then simply died. Weak. I should have a house next week, and internet access soon after, so hopefully I will be able to permanently fix these things that are causing downtime. Argh.

Finally. :(
Hey, Blue? I'm loving the things you do. From the very first time, the fight you fight for will always be mine.

I lease the server, the hosting company doesn't touch it. So if something gets messed up that's not hardware, there is no compensation (nor should there be).

I thought the pesky rebel scum had finally found this last bastion of Massassians and cleared the place for good. But it looks like that ominous thought was much too premature.

Heh, I was wondering what happened.

I looked thru SSH as best I could, and the drive still had free space, nothing seemed to be eating CPU time, and the network seemed okay. I couldn't read the apache logs (nor could I have restarted it if I could) to do a real diagnosis though :D

Glad to see it finally got back.

Brian, why don't you set it up so CoolMatty or a couple other people who know what they're doing have access to fix things on the server? That way there's not so much pressure on you as the only one to who can get things working again.

I agree with this. In fact, it's something MBeggar and I have been wanting to ask you.
Code to the left of him, code to the right of him, code in front of him compil'd and thundered. Programm'd at with shot and $SHELL. Boldly he typed and well. Into the jaws of C. Into the mouth of PERL. Debug'd the 0x258.

Whew. I was getting worried.
