I need a topic to use for discussion and comparison papers for my English Comp class this semester. I originally wanted to do it about nuclear power, but I just can't find any articles against it. Everything I find claims it to be the best thing ever and what not.

So what I'm looking for is suggestions on a topic related to the environment and energy that has plenty of debate (and preferably interesting as well). Please do not suggest global warming though.

seriously, we all have heard most of our lives reduce reuse recycle, but some of the processes for recycling are also polluting the air. especially plastics and aluminium.

If you can't find anything against Nuclear power, you're not looking hard enough. There is enough literature out there to do a comparative paper on nuclear energy.

You could do alternative fuels. Green Energy.
