Alright, so get this. We had a streaker at the pep rally last night. It may not seem like a big deal, "Just another streaker" but the way he pulled it off simply astounds me and impresses me.
Issac Ortega, a senior, got his friends to get into the sewer system and lay some ropes down for him a week before the pep rally. Once the ropes were in place, he would craw through the drains using a skateboard on his stomach. They had used crowbars the night before to loosen the sewer exit in the endzone of the football field. Once he was to be on the field, he would streak across it like planned, and jump the fence at the far end. Once there, he would have a getaway truck waiting for him. It was ingenious.
The first part of the plan went well. He Climbed down into the parking lot sewer and made his way to the sewer's endzone exit. Once there, he took off his clothes and climbed up the metal rungs of the sewer. When he emerged from the sewer, everyone in the stands got up to cheer. By the time the administration had realized he had come out of the sewer, he was in full stride. He was like a majestic beast running across the field. It was hilarious to watch. He was wearing nothing but boots and a monkey mask.
He had made it over the fence and everyone went to the side of the stands he was running away from. The admin chased after him in small carts and tried to cut him off, but he was too quick. This is where the problem started. His getaway truck hadn't arrived.
He ran around a ceptic mound in circles while the admin and other students were chasing him. The truck finally arrived and he dashed for it. By the time he had gotten in, the admin karts had them surrounded.
Issac was fined $150 for his 10 minutes of fame, but all the students at the rally, including myself, pitched in to pay for his ticket. $211 was the amount of the donations he recieved.
I'm just astounded at how well it was pulled off and how clever it was.
Thoughts anyone?
edit: So there is no confusion, the field is an American Football field, not a soccer field
