no i think they are storm troopers not clone troopers... at least thats what i thought i saw in that one cgi trailer

Yeah, Republic Commando was announced at last year's E3 with the CGI trailer. It's supposed to be a nitty-gritty squad FPS game set during the time of the Republic (thus the name), so it should feature clones, not stormtroopers. And the release date has always been set for 2004..

Yeah, it's got alot of potential.

My only concern the bugs. I just sick of games useing bugs.

I must say, I've never liked the look of "clone" troopers. This is just... sickening. If they were oh say STORMTROOPERS it would be awesome. I'm just not excited about a game where I get to be one of my least favorite things in the Star Wars universe. They should make a CoD type game with stormtroopers... that'd be fun...

But seriously though, if the gameplay is good, I don't care about the uniforms.

There's bound to be a mod that will patch it so the Clone Troopers become regular stormtroopers, anyway.

I really doubt that. There's no reason to think that they would use a small Clone army (obviously there are gonna be tons of Clone casualities, and they only have some million at the start of the Wars) to be their neverending supply of Stormtroopers when Jango's already dead.

The game looks like it could be fun though, hopefully you go against more than the Geonosians and the already overused Battle Droids. (why did they have to use them in Rebel Strike >_< )

As soon as I saw the trailer in KotOR, I lost interest in this game. I don't care about shooting at insects, I'd prefer shooting at people, or at least humanlike bipeds.
