Wow, I just played it on 360 (demo is on live). It's terrible. They could not have gone more in the wrong direction from NFS:Most Wanted, which was a good game, to this. This feels basically like Underground 3, only much, much worse than underground ever was. Terrible controls, the graphics are all blurry and wooshy. Just awful.

Is there a PC demo?

I downloaded the 360 demo last night; I haven't played it yet though.

Yeah, I read an interview with the guy who's running the Carbon project and he was basically like, "We're not going to deliver the NFS game that gamers want, because we think if we listen to gamers that's not the way to make a good game. That's why we're focusing on racing and dropping the police entirely."

Wow gee, the cops were like the ONE THING that made NFS worthy of purchase. Without them there's no reason not to just get a Burnout title.
