Just wondering what some of you guys/girls do to save money throughout your life. energy saving lightbulbs? solar powered home generators?

Looking for something creative.

I buy the Plen-T Pak of Extra Gum instead of the 5 stick packs.

Always recycle your empty bottles by throwing them at old people at the discount store so you can get what they're going after.

Isn't Extra sugarfree? It's probably no worse for your teeth than the dollar menu at the fast food joint, and definitely not as detrimental to your health. ;)
woot!

Except chewing gum, day in day out every day rots your teeth out. I used to do it and had horrible dental pains--when I figured out why I switched to Orbit only.

I was under the impression Extra wasn't sugarfree, could be wrong.

I've paid, all together, 3 dollars for my entire collection of Magic the Gathering cards. In freshman year I got free lunch, so on days when they didn't have anything good I'd bring subs to the players in the Career Center who played all lunch and so they never got anything to eat. I'd barter with them for cards. Made some pretty nifty decks.

-So long ago... still go tthe cards... I could sell them for a profit, perhaps...

I'm pretty sure Extra is sugarfree. And I really don't chew gum that much, I was joking

I buy in off-brand bulk instead of buying name brand, tiny products that cost four times more. MMMM Frosty Flakes, Crisp soda, Fast MAC, Fruity Nuggets, Rollin Oats, Captain Planet fruitsnacks, etc etc.

Also I like to go to farm shops to buy fruit

I don't pay the electric bill. Thus, I don't care.

Oh wait... the Nintendo Wii uses 1/3 - 1/4 as much energy as a GameCube so the rumors go... and God knows how much less than a PS3 or XBox 360...

I'd wait a few years. I tried to sell my collection a sort while ago and I could only get $5 for it. At least around here, it's been replaced by Yu-Gi-Oh, and isn't old enough to be a novelty yet.
It took a while for you to find me; I was hiding in the lime tree.
