Doesn't matter, it's AGP.Your ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooold rig probably has a PCI slot or two and that's it.
I had a blog. It sucked.

CM, that's exactly what I was looking on wikipedia for, to see when AGP first appeared. And yeha, odds are if your computer is as old as you claim it's a different size AGP slot.
I had a blog. It sucked.

He wouldn't sell it to you anyways.

Does he understand yet that no modern 3D card will fit in his slot?

Jim, I'll trade it for my overclocked 9700...it has a cut down Athlon heatsink mounted with a retention system on the GPU and two K6 heatsinks cut down to size for the RAM, hand lapped then bonded on the chips with thermal epoxy. :ninja:

No, and the X300 is PCI-E only iirc.

I have a 9800pro. I had to take it out because it kept crashing. I'd be in a word processor and my video drivers would fail.

It was either a power issue, or the card was fysked. But I couldn't find anything above 350w that fit in this case, and I need my machine to actually - what's the word? - function.

So now it's sitting in a box.

Want mine too?
Wikissassi sucks.

Ahh, I should buy it. It'd be nice to have a 9800pro laying around again. I wish I had money.
2006-10-07, 5:29 PM #18
I'd almost be willing to buy that just to say I had it...

I remember being in #massassi when I was younger and hearing everyone rave about their 9800Pro's, and oh how I coveted them from my GeForce 2 MX200

No issues with my old Radeon 9800 (flashed to Pro) -- though it was running on an Antec Truepower 430w..
