In-Windows Overclocking Tools
2006-10-06, 5:06 PM #1
I've just gotten my computer back up and running (thank you god), but I need a good in-windows overclocking tool.

To my memory, Speedfan does it, but it doesn't refresh the overclock on restart. I need something that will do that much.

It doesn't need to be fancy or complicated, just decent.

If anyone knows of any such programs, it'd be a huge help.

Thanks.

I'm going to assume you mean video card, since although it is possible, not many people overclock memory or CPU... except my dad... :psyduck:

nVidia or ATI? It is important. :)

nVidia includes a overclocker in their classic control panel stuff, a registry tweak unlocks it (google around for it).

No, CPU. I know about coolbits and all. I overclocked my CPU like a mother****er (got a 500mhz overclock on air, woot), but now it's impossible to do through the BIOS (new mobo).

I think you might be able to apply Clock Gen settings on start up. Good luck! :)
