I have a working computer again!!!

I actually have windows xp pro now instead of 2000. It's taking some getting used to, though.

In other news... I have a massive case of the clanks from drinking too much last night.

To legitimize this thread, post your longest pc downtime.

This one was 6 months.

Two weeks. Sorta. My CRT monitor died and it took one week for my new LCD monitor to get to my parents' (dad wanted to test it out, I wanted him to ship it straight here though :mad:

) and another week here.

I could still VNC into my computer from the computer lab for a bit until it rebooted and VNC didn't come on. I was able to borrow my roommate's monitor for the weekend too (since he went home for the weekend), and I had VNC for the rest of the downtime. It still sucked though, since all I could really DO was homework, and some SFW web browsing. No games though. :mad:

My new LCD monitor has been with me for almost two years now. It r0x0rs.
